Obsidian has made some of the best RPG games in recent history. One of those was The Outer Worlds and while many have been waiting for a long time for the sequel, it looks like the second game is on its way. Here is a look at the The Outer Worlds 2 Release Date.
The Outer Worlds 2 Release Date will be on October 29, 2025.
They joked that this was because of GTA 6 getting moved back, but truthfully, this seems like it could be the case. Many companies do not want to compete with a game that will be massive. Either way, the next game in this series will be arriving almost exactly six years after the last one.
It does look like The Outer Worlds 2 will be on Xbox Game Pass on Day 1.
This is a bit of a surprise until you look at the evidence. The first Outer Worlds game is on Xbox Game Pass already because Obsidian is owned by Xbox/Microsoft. So because of that, The Outer Worlds 2 will be on Game Pass for players to try and see if it can live up to the incredible first game.
The Outer Worlds 2 Gameplay will be the same as the previous game for the most part.
There will be new guns, abilities and characters. Specifically they showed off some of the new companions and no, you are not able to have “intiment relations” with them. This trailer was full of the fun that is seen in the first Outer Worlds Games and it looks like it will certainly continue into this next game.
