Farthest Frontier sees you leading a group of disgruntled settlers who are looking to make a new life for themselves away from the major cities. This ironically leads you to create your own major city. Sound interesting? Here is a look at the Farthest Frontier Release Date.
There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the Farthest Frontier Release Date.
The Early Access release of the game was on August 9, 2022. Then it was scheduled for release sometime in the Fall of 2024. Now it has been pushed back to the Spring of 2025. Currently, Farthest Frontier is on Version 0.9.6 with 0.9.7 on its way. If they stick with this schedule, it is possible that the official Release Date will be near the end of May or early June.

Right now, it does not look like Farthest Frontier will be finding its way to Xbox Game Pass.
This is definitely something that could change with the official release of the game coming later in 2025. It could even be a game that could be added in the future if the developers at Crate believe it will help them market this and potential future games more.
The Farthest Frontier Gameplay is very similar to many city-builder games.
What really sets this one apart from the others is the aesthetic. It is a mostly cozy game and one that can be difficult if you want it to be. There is little doubt that it is like many others in the way things are built and managed. But there are some differences and the setting is one that is much more advanced.
Along with all of this, the maps and their generation are very interesting. Whether you want rolling hills, mountains, lakes or just flat land, you can find and build your medieval city in all of it. The combat has improved and it will be worth watching to see if it continues to get stronger as we get closer to the official launch.
