The MLB The Show 26 Release Time will be on March 17, 2026 at 12 am EST. Listed below are the other major time zones.
This will be almost a week ahead of Opening Day for the MLB, or the perfect amount of time to play before watching your favorite team for the 2026 season. The early access release date will be on March 13, 2026. So if you get the game early, you will be able to play over the weekend while others will have to wait.

You will have to pay more to play MLB The Show 26 early.
Normally, it would run you $70 for the normal version. If you want to play early, it will be $99.99. You do get a few other things if you buy this version as well. They are listed below.

There are certainly some changes this year beyond just the new rosters. There is the extended Road to the Show mode where you actually start in High School. With that, there are more new Colleges and even a new stadium.
For many, this one may feel like a repeat, though, so it will be worth at least looking into and seeing if it is a game you should be picking up.
