Mass Effect was another genre-defining RPG that came from Bioware, the same company that made the Game of the Year winning Knights of the Old Republic. The characters like Commander Sheppard were iconic as well as the universe it was put in. So much so that they made three main series games revolving around Commander Sheppard’s story and then Mass Effect Andromeda which was more of a standalone game. To bring the games to a new audience as well as to allow for older fans to enjoy the main three games again but updated, Mass Effect Legendary Edition was announced. Fans are now wondering, what is the Mass Effect Legendary Edition Release Date?
As one can see in the reveal trailer this game that was already great looking for its time, will look absolutely outstanding in 4K and on the new systems. Not only have the graphics been updated but so has much of the UI which was a little clunky in retrospect.
There will also be a collectors edition that includes a replica helmet like what is seen in the trailer and used in the games. It also comes with art, an N7 Acceptance letter, a Steel Case and Morality Spinner pins.
This was not the only news that come on N7 day, it was also announced that Mass Effect 5 was in development. While not many details are known, it seems likely that the remastered edition of the original trilogy should help hold fans over until the game’s release.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition release date will be on May 14, 2021. Luckily fans will not have to wait long to relive one of the classic western rpgs.
