What is the Forza Horizon 6 Release Date?

The new Forza Horizon is going to places we have never been before. This time, we are making our way to Japan to celebrate the car culture and so much more. Here is a look at the Forza Horizon 6 Release Date and when you will be able to race through the Cherry Blossoms.

Forza Horizon 6 Release Date

The Forza Horizon 6 Release Date is set for May 19, 2026.

This comes from the initial announcement from the January 2026 Xbox Developer Direct. In this, they also stated that Forza Horizon 6 would be their biggest game to date. Not only would the map be large overall, Tokyo City itself would also be five times larger than any other city that the Playground team has made before.

Console Releases

Forza Horizon 6 will release on Xbox and PC on launch day.

PlayStation 5 is planned to be released at some point later in 2026. This is a part of a new initiative between Xbox and PlayStation. It feels as though Xbox wants to get more of its games into PlayStation players’ hands.

Other Notes

There will be a story mode that will see you start as just a tourist in Japan. Then your racing will evolve from there as you work to get into the Horizon Festival.

Forza Horizon 6 will have over 550 different cars to choose from. You will eventually get more of them and open up the world even more on Legend Island once you get to the end of the game.

Lastly, the GR GT is the Cover Car for the game as well.
