A new Souls-like is launching in Enotria: The Last Song and this one could hit a niche for those who love the genre. This game sees your character brought to life to help and save a dying world. Set in a fictional southern Italy, you will be fighting against many different enemies such as fallen gods. This comes about a year after the last major Souls-like game was released in Life of P. This game certainly feel similar but has a much more lighthearted tone. Even with that being said, the game is still about fighting some pretty interesting looking creatures, former humans and fallen gods. It will be worth watching to see if the reception will be similar to what Life of P was or if Enotria will miss the mark.
As of now it does not look as if Enotria The Last Song will be making its way to Xbox Game Pass.
That being said, it will have a chance in the future. It is expected to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X. That means that everything is there to get it on Game Pass. It will come down to whether Microsoft decides they want to add it.
The Enotria The Last Song gameplay looks pretty similar to what many Souls-like games are.
Dodging is going to be key but this game does seem to be a bit faster than many Souls-like games. Just in the sense of the strikes flowing well and the movements being swift. This could make it a bit easier but that may not be a bad thing or they may balance it out in a different way.
Either way, the look and feel of the game are very important and it looks great at least. Once the players get it in their hands they will get to decide on the feel.
