Makes sense because you’re the MVP, right? However, if you’re the top performer on the other team, you won’t get to see the MVP animation, but instead, you only see an SVP tag by your in-game name. If it doesn’t mean MVP, what does SVP mean in Marvel Rivals?

While MVP goes to the most valuable player, SVP goes to the second most valuable player on the losing team. Depending on the role picked, here are a few ways to earn SVP. With Marvel Rivals being a Hero Shooter, one simple play from a teammate can easily rob you of your title, especially in nail-biting moments.

• Dualist players can easily earn SVP or MVP by farming damage from the enemy team. This also goes for having the most kills on the team.
• Strategist can earn their titles from either getting high damage numbers or higher healing stats, which would be the recommended course of action.
• Vanguards can block damage to easily earn MVP or SVP

As mentioned before, you can perform all your tasks correctly while playing your respective roles. Whether it’s serious damage as a DPS,  serious damage mitigation, or high healing stats, your MVP or SVP can be stolen in an instant. For instance, in a clutch moment, Scarlet Witch, Jeff the Shark, or even Loki can wipe out a whole team, and they can earn it.
