GAD stands for “Gadget” in College Football 26, a new archetype that some receivers can have in CFB 26. This position will slot players into formations like Wildcat, or other trick play spots in CFB 26.

In the image above, you can see Kaden Feagin, the GAD for Illinois, starting in the HB spot in the Wildcat formation. This would likely be the case in other formations involving trick plays, or players that are meant to pass, run, or get option work. As such, ensure these players are able to do a little bit of everything!
