Middle-earth is calling you back but maybe not for the reason you think. In Tales of the Shire, you will create your own Hobbit and start a peaceful life. Here is a look at the Tales of the Shire Pre Order Bonuses and more.
As of now, there are no Tales of the Shire Pre Order Bonuses.
It would not be a huge surprise to see this change as we get closer to the release date. With many of these cozy-farming games, there are small in-game bonuses of clothes or other items.
The Tales of the Shire Release Date will be on July 29, 2025.
This comes about a year after the initial release date was pushed back. They decided to go back under the hood and smooth out the gameplay and add more to it. Even though this is not the war-type game that Lord of the Rings fans are used to, it still should help bring players back into the franchise in a fun way.

Tales of the Shire will, unfortunately, not be on Xbox Game Pass.
That being said, you will be able to play it on Xbox Series X|S and PC. So that leaves the option open for it to be added in the future. It would not be a surprise to see this game on Game Pass, considering other Lord of the Rings games are already on it, like the Shadow of War series. So you can certainly hold out hope for this one as well.
The Tales of the Shire Gameplay will feel like many cozy games but this time in Middle-earth.
You will create your own Hobbit and go around making your own home. You will be able to fish, make food and complete quests with characters like Gandolf. There is no doubt that there is an audience for this and it will be interesting to see how well it sells.
