The Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance Release Date will be June 14, 2024.

This is only about three years after the launch of the original game. While this game was certainly well-received, as many in this series have been, it was a surprise for it to be getting new content. The JRPG will be released as more than just DLC, this is an all-new story with a lot of new content and areas to explore as well.

It is unlikely that this game will be pushed back. That being said, it could still happen to make sure to keep up to date as we get closer to the release to make sure you are not taking the wrong day off work to play.

Is Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance on Game Pass?

While Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance will be on Xbox Series X|S and even on Xbox One, it does not look like it will be on Xbox Game Pass.

This is a bit of a surprise considering it will be on all of the Xbox systems and it will even be available on Steam and PC overall. Game Pass is not known for a big JRPG library but there are a few major titles on there including many of the recent Persona games. It seems like the Shin Megami Tensei series would be a great addition.

The Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance gameplay should be very similar to the original game.

This means that it will be the typical JRPG where you fight in turn-based combat with mana and different abilities. Based on what has been shown of the game so far, that seems to be the case. Many JRPGs have continued to be more open-world, just as this game will be. They also have more action elements, something this series is potentially lacking.

Either way, the game should play perfectly for those who love the Shin Megami Tensei series and more specifically for those who loved Shin Megami Tensei V and were always hoping for more.
