A classic series is finding its way back into the spotlight but as a very different game this time. In the past, Metal Slug has mostly been a shooter but this time Leikir Studio and Dotemu decided to bring it back as a strategy game. As of the release of this article, it does not look as though there will be any Metal Slug Tactics pre order bonuses.
There could always be a last minute skin that is added to try and help boost sales. But other than that, games like this do not have much additional add-ons that people will be willing to pay for.
The Metal Slug Tactics Release Date will be on November 5, 2024.
Originally the game was supposed to release in 2023. This got pushed back to late 2024 and now we have the release date. Having it come out during the holiday season is generally a good decision. Especially in a year where not many major games are out or will have already been released.
Metal Slug Tactics will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day One.
This is great news for those who have enjoyed the series in the past or those who love strategy games and want to give it a try. With so many other Metal Slug games on Game Pass, this should not come as a major surprise to have Tactics added as well.
The Metal Slug Tactics gameplay will be like a lot many tactical RPGs.
You will have units that will try to fight and defend different parts of the map. This will progress with the story as you recruit new units to your side. It looks as though if you lose any units that they will be gone for good as many of these games have done in the past as well. There is no doubt that Metal Slug fans will be looking forward to a very new type of game in this franchises rich history.
