After nearly a decade, the next Mario and Luigi game is finally coming to a Nintendo Switch near you. The game sees the two brothers fighting alongside each other to beat a big bad enemy. This is a series that many have been hoping would get a revival and Brothership looks to be bringing an interesting twist. This is a bit of a surprise for such a big Nintendo main game. That being said, Nintendo does not always do them as they believe their games will sell well without them. There is also no official price yet so this makes sense but with the game getting released so soon, there is not a lot of time for them to get Pre Order Bonuses added.
The Mario and Luigi Brothership Release Date will be November 7, 2024.
While the announcement of this game was definitely a surprise, the release date may have been an even bigger one. The game getting released just a few weeks after being announced is a major surprise but a welcome one without a doubt. You will be able to by a physical copy of the game or online on the release date.
The Mario and Luigi Brothership cost will be $59.99 USD.
This will not come as a major surprise to most as generally this is about what Nintendo Switch games will cost. With the Nintendo Switch 2 or some variation of that names coming soon Nintendo could decide to increase the prices of their games. Lately video games have not been able to dodge inflation as their prices have increased at least $10 compared to last generation games.
Also, some of the Mario games have been released for $49.99. These are the games with less content but the full-fledged games like Mario and Luigi Brothership will be going for full price.
This game looks a lot like Paper Mario but without the paper. The battles will be turned-based while the rest of the game will be open worldish but side scrolling as well. It is unclear if you will be able to use more characters than just Mario and Luigi in this one. Although one should expect it to just be the two brothers as this series is named after them.
