Sometimes this happens due to how long it takes to get voice acting done. Other times it is due to popularity. Meaning, the devs will worry if the game will be able to sell around the world and not just in Japan. Luckily, it seems as if both issues were resolved.

It will be centered around chapters that you have to complete. You run around in the city of Edith and are able to talk to characters and complete different missions. This will include your companions that you meet along the way. Also you will fight in some real-time battles and then in turn-based combat. It is a good combination of both.
