We already know, as sad as it is to say, that in today’s gaming climate, gamers are coming to terms with the new standard price for video games being $70. The price increase, however, also raises prices for special-edition game variants. These special editions each come with their own benefits, whether short- or long-term. To make sure that everyone knows exactly what they’re paying for, here are all the different Crimson Desert Editions available for purchase.
Crimson Desert is its own single-player title. While similar themes and maybe even some references to Black Desert Online may be present, that’s solely because the two titles occupy the same theme. There has been no confirmation of the two existing in the same universe. Crimson Desert will have players follow Greymane Kliff, who has suffered a devastating ambush by the Black Bears, leaving fellow Greymanes dead or scattered across the continent. It’s now up to Kliff to rebuild the fallen Greymanes by forging alliances and facing whatever dangers lie in the wake of Pywel. Gameplay-wise, Crimson Desert lets players experiment with a variety of skills, weapons, and equipment to discover different playstyles. This is all thanks to the game’s combat and progression system. Through acquiring artifacts in-game, players can discover new skills to further expand their combat and exploration capabilities.
