After two hours of new games, major updates and surprises, the first day of Summer Game Fest brought us some great games. But which ones are the ones we here at The Game Haus are most excited for? Here are our Top 5 Best Games from Summer Game Fest 2025.

A new medieval sandbox game where you will fight and control armies is coming to Early Access in 2026. Tom Hardy narrated the announcement trailer and while it left us asking questions, it certainly piqued our interest.
One of the themes this year was co-op games. More specifically, games that you can play with a partner. Lego decided to up the game once again with LEGO Voyagers. You play as two adorable little blocks and have to work together to complete the story using other Legos to help you get around. There is no release date yet but this will be one worth keeping an eye out for.
Game of Thrones is back and ready to have to lead the armies of Westeros for the first time. The new RTS, War for Westeros sees you taking over one of the three major houses, Starks, Lannisters or Targaryens or the Night King and his army of undead. You will battle it out in Westeros to try and take over the entire contenent. This game is expected to release sometime in 2026.
Capture the Flag has never looked so, 1970s? Last Flag is a brand-new multiplayer capture the flag game with goofy but interesting characters that all do different things. It feels almost like the spiritual sucessor to Team Fortress 2 but different enough to be worth taking a look at.
They had been teasing something from Resident Evil for the entire show and saved the best for last. Resident Evil Requiem is the next game in the 30 year old series that had fans at Summer Game Fest very excited. A new and intriguing story will unfold and one that you will not want to miss. Even better? It is expected to release on February 27, 2026.
