The team Supermassive, the same who brought gamers Until Dawn is bringing along The Quarry another interactive horror game. This time around Supermassive will be sharing the love with other console players besides Playstation users. With an expansion to other consoles, there will also be special The Quarry Editions.

The Successor

Until Dawn gained its notoriety in 2015 for being an impressive interactive horror game. It was known for its thrilling story-driven gameplay keeping gamers invested in the title. Until Dawn, however, was only exclusive to PlayStation users leaving out other players from the experience. 7 years later Supermassive is now showcasing yet another cinematic horror with a new cast of teens. The Quarry surrounds a group of summer camp councilors in a Friday The 13th-like scenario. Just like in Until Dawn who lives and who dies will be the sole responsibility of the player and the decisions being made. This time around not only will Playstation players be experiencing this but also Xbox and PC players.

GamePlay

The Quarry is an interactive horror where the player controls different characters and the decisions that they make. These decisions are critical and crucial as they branch off the story into different paths. Some of these paths can even include a character’s death.

There is a listed moe titled ‘Director’s Chair’. In this mode, players will be allowed to pre-select character traits before starting each of the counselor’s stories in the game. For players who are more interested in the story narrative aspect of the game, there is also a game mode to give the characters a predetermined outcome` and watch the story play out.

The Quarry will release on June 10, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
