
During the PlayStation Showcase for 2023, new gameplay was revealed for Spider Man. Along with that, the main villain of the game and its release date were shown off as well. There is no doubt that fans have been looking forward to the next game in the Spider Man series and it looks like they will not have to wait for too long. During the showcase, a lot was shown about the plot for Spider Man 2. Kraven the Hunter, who will be getting a theatrical release soon, seems to be the main villain for the new Spider Man game. He is looking for new prey to hunt and New York City seems to be his new hunting grounds.
The gameplay shown had Spider Man fighting alongside Miles Morales while Kraven was hunting The Lizard, also known as Dr. Connors. This was quite the fight sequence with a mix of gameplay and cutscenes that will certainly have fans excited.
Along with this, they showed that Venom will be a major part of this story. It will be interesting to see how Spider Man and Miles Morales deal with this change as well.
When looking at the Spider Man 2 Release Date, it has been narrowed done some but nor completely. It went from being 2023 to now it is Fall 2023. It would not be a surprise to see the game coming out during the Holiday Season, 2023.
