There has been some discussion floating around the Roblox community as of late. The main topic of said discussion has been in relation to the possibility of a Roblox dating app. Roblox has recently implemented 17+ experiences within the sandbox giving more freedom when it comes to creating experiences. Because of this more adult-themed content has been made. Given the fact that a majority of children play Roblox compared to adults this is a good thing to separate the two. However, the question still remains. Is there a Roblox dating app?

The answer at the moment is currently no, however, this is likely to change in the future. At the Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) 2023 keynote, CEO David Baszucki made a statement regarding the possibility of Roblox being a dating service for adults. Baszucki stated that “thousands” of adults will meet and form “real-life relationships” in dating experiences on the platform over the next five years. This was said in regards to where the team sees the platform heading in five years. There isn’t a dating app on the platform currently, however, there are a few 17+ experiences created that encourage it.
Dating aside, Roblox has evolved a lot through the years. PS5 players can expect to get their hands on the blocky title on October 10, 2023. This version of Roblox will include all of the features present on the Xbox console with no restrictions. As an added bonus. Every version of Roblox will also be crossplay allowing friends to play with each other regardless of platform. There are over a million experiences for players to try out so the possibility is almost endless.
