If you’re a frequent tactical shooter gamer your probably familiar with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. While PUBG: BLINDSPOT is played from a top-down perspective, one could see some similarities with certain features. Once February 4 comes, it’ll be PUBG: BLINDSPOT vs Rainbow Six Siege. Here are all the similarities and differences between the two tactical shooters.


PUBG and R6S Comparison

Similaritties 

  • PUBG BLINDSPOT has Agents, just like how Rainbow Six Siege has Operators
  • Both games rely on team synergy and coordination to achieve success.
  • 5V5 Tactical shooter where characters have unique abilities.
  • Agents have exclusive weapons.

Differences

  • Teammates share enemy sightings and line of sight, hence the name PUBG: BLINDSPOT.
  • Hide and seek with Guns

All PUBG BLINDSPOT Characters:

  • Dropdown– Assault Trooper of the 8.1 Squad, known for her exceptional marksmanship with assault rifles. Frequently using gas-emitting equipment, the gas mask she always wears appears to be missing its filter.
  • Collision – Leader of the Drifters Squad, always charging at the frontline with a shotgun to pave the way. He prefers tactics that restrict enemy movement using deployable traps and smoke grenades
  • Apex – A member of the Battlegrounds-winning Grave Kids squad. Having a prosthetic leg, he moves with remarkable agility. Specializes in high-rate-of-fire submachine guns and excels in intense firefights using blue zone grenades.
  • Buddy– Leader of the 8.1 Squad, which is composed of military personnel. Buddys primary role is to provide firepower with her high-caliber sniper rifle while gathering intelligence from the rear.
  • Heinz– A former assassin employed by  Frantic Investments, specializing in infiltrating enemy lines and engaging in information warfare. He carries a compact Uzu submachine gun and a powerful magnum revolver.
  • Zen– A cloaked mercenary who operates with his face covered. Uses a DR and a grenade launcher. He is believed to be a former member of the 8.1 Squad who went missing.
  • Fanatic– CEO of Fanatic Investments, gifted at persuading others to follow her lead. She frequently procures high-value equipment through her business connections, and typically brings a first aid kit with her to battle.
  • Karnival – The troubleshooter for Fanatic Investments, known for favoring straightforward and destructive equipment like the AK rifle or the explosive hammer.
  • Fence – A hacker from Mole Squad, she compensates for her congenitalblindness with razor-sharp hearing and a state of the art visor. Using her custom-built tracker, she pinpoints enemies through walls and unleashes a relentless barrage of fire.
  • Kayak– A former member of the Grave Kids Squad who used to compete in Battleground tournaments alongside Apex. Now it seems he and Apex have grown distant. Expert in demolition tactics, he weilds a rapid-fire shotgun controlled with a mechanical arm and is skilled at sabotage using explosives.
  • Patch: Inspired by the builder mode of her favorite game, she developed and uses a hard foam grenade that rapidly expands to form a wall when thrown. Sharpened through countless hours of gaming, her quick aim and tactical judgment for deploying cover set her apart from the rest.
  • Whisper: Whistle escaped from Retreats when her operation was compromised while trying to leak Crypt-tech. She now uses a device built from the stolen tech to track nearby Blue Chips.
  • Goldberg –  Researcher with expertise in short-range like chip communication. After a catastrophic lab accident that left him severely injured. He survived only througha extensive cybernetic Augmentation. He now wields a device that interfaces withhacked red chips nearby to enhance the chip users phsyical capabilities.
