Prince of Persia Sands of Time was arguably the most popular game in the series. It was one of the big platformer-type games back in the early 2000’s. There was the element of time where the main character, only known as The Prince, used a dagger to help him fight. This dagger could control time and would allow for The Prince to go back in time a little bit to help him fix a mistake that the players may have made.
This new installment in the series will seemingly have a similar feel to it. The next game, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown will be another platformer. This time though, it will not be in 3D but will move to a 2D sidescroller which seems to be a popular choice in gaming these days. Along with this, there is seemingly a multiverse element to it. How the rock or shard-looking element will work is not yet known.
The Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Release Date will be January 18, 2024. Players can see below the new logo for the game.

Players may have to wait a few months for the game to come out. That being said, there is no doubt that fans of the series will be excited to get back to Persia.
