The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally launching in 2025 and with it will come a slew of new games. Before the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct on April 2, 2025, we are going to take a stab at some predictions. Here are our predictions for All of the Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Games.
As a reminder, these are just predictions for the Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Games. Once the games are officially revealed, we will make sure to write updates for those. The Nintendo Switch 1 launched with 10 games and a few others that were within the launch window,

This one is painfully obvious. Mainly because we were already shown this game with the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2. It will be interesting to see what gimmick is added to the game and what new racers we will get.
Even though we just going Super Mario Bros. Wonder, do not be surprised to see either a remake of a classic Super Mario game or a completely new one. It will have been almost two years since Wonder launched and for something as big as the Switch 2 it would be more surprising not to see some Super Mario game available at launch.
Even though we know this game is releasing for the Nintendo Switch 1, it does not mean we will not have it available for the launch of the Switch 2. Giving Samus some love here would make up for the fact that Link and the Legend of Zelda likely will not get a new game with the Switch 2 launch.
We did not say that Zelda would not get a remaster, just that it would not be a new game. It has been over 20 years since this game launched and it is more than time for a remaster. The Switch 2 would be the perfect time to do so.
There are major rumors, one could go as far as saying leaks at this point, that show the new Joy-Cons having some sort of mouse functionality. As with all the new functions that Nintendo adds to their consoles they will make some sort of party game surrounding them.
Just like the prediction above, this one is based on the new mouse function. There may be some old or new PC games that you would normally have to have a mouse to play but now with the new capabilities of the Switch 2 they will announce that this system can play that PC game.
With new graphics capabilities and Third-Party studios looking to get in with the Nintendo crowd, do not be surprised to see a major game come over. And we mean major. Something like Halo or Uncharted.
