To ring in the New Year. Gamefreak will be hosting a Cinderace Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. The Cinderace Tera Raid event will be running in two different waves. The first is from December 30, 2022, through January 1, 2023. The second wave will start again on January 13, 2023, through January 15, 2023.
Cinderace is the fire-type starter Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Cinderace isn’t a Pokemon any trainer can catch walking around the Paldea region. It’s safe to say that this could be an exclusive chance to add them to the player’s collection. Cinderace will have Fighting as its Tera Type.
Cinderace will be weak to Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy-type moves. It would be best for trainers to have Ghost-types Pokemon when entering the Cinderace Raid. Ghost types are unaffected by any Fighting-type move that the Cinderace may use.
To ring in the holidays there will be a 5-star Delibird Raid event. The event will be running from December 23 to December 25. Five-star Delibird raids during this event will offer different Tera Shard items as a reward for completion. Tera Shards are an important item to farm during raids considering their uses. In order to change a Pokemon’s Tera Type it takes 50 of a specific Tera Shard. What separates Delibird’s Raid from the previous Charizard Raid is that Delibird will be able to come in any of the 18 available Tera types.
