The Pokemon card craze has been something that is taking the world by storm. While not as popular as it was during 2020 and 2021, the TCG is still doing well. The Pokemon Company is continuing to push out more and more sets or expansions of their uber-popular card game. The next expansion to be released will be the first for Scarlet and Violet. Now fans will be wondering what is the Pokemon TCG Scarlet & Violet Release Date?

This set will be the second set for 2023. It comes after a more normal year for the TCG in 2022. There may be some hype surrounding this one though as it starts the Scarlet and Violet Era. It will be bringing with it the new Terastalization that was added in the games. Pokemon will be basically getting new typings while still essentially staying the same. The looks of these cards will certainly be interesting as each type has its own hat but the TCG has different typings than the games.
Also since this set was only just announced the actual card list has not been fully released. Considering how the Sword and Shield sets have gone through, one would expect them to continue bringing in some of the most popular Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet and maybe some from arceus still as the game has only been out for a year. There is a potential set mostly known as it is normally based on the Japanese set with a similar name that is released a few weeks and sometimes even months ahead of the English release.
Now for those wondering what is the Pokemon TCG Scarlet & Violet Release Date? It has been announced that Scarlet & Violet will be released in early, 2023. Specifically March 31, 2023. This will be one of the last of a long line of Sword and Shield sets as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were announced to be coming out at the beginning of 2023.
