The Pokemon card craze has been something that is taking the world by storm. While not as popular as it was during 2020 and 2021, the TCG is still doing well. The Pokemon Company is continuing to push out more and more sets or expansions of their uber-popular card game. The next expansion to be released will be the third for Scarlet and Violet. Now fans will be wondering what is the Pokemon TCG 151 Release Date?

This set will be the fifth set for 2023. It comes after a more normal year for the TCG in 2022. There will be some hype with this set for many reasons but the main one is that it is going to exclusively have Pokemon from the original games. Hence the 151 name. It is a little odd to be doing this and connecting it to Scarlet and Violet but the hope is that the older Pokemon will connect with older and newer fans alike.
Also since this set was only just announced the actual card list has not been fully released. Considering the name and purpose is to show off the original 151 Pokemon, it is safe to assume all of them will be in there. That being said, there is little to no doubt that this will have some very exclusive and hard-to-get cards. Expect for Charizard, Mewtwo and of course, Pikachu to have some secret rares in this set.
Now for those wondering what is the Pokemon TCG 151 Release Date? It has been announced that 151 will be released near the end of 2023. Specifically September 22, 2023.
This set will be the second to have a Charizard in the Scarlet and Violet sets which will certainly have fans diving deep to try and pull it. The reason this is a big deal as Cahrizard cards are generally the most popular in the world.
Look for more on the Pokemon TCG as these sets continue to come out.
