There’s been a lot of speculation as to the game’s new features. For example, in part of the trailer, two different players seem to interact outside in the open world. This preludes to the possibility of free roam multiplayer, or at least something more than what was conventionally provided. Keep in mind, that this is pure speculation.

Pokemon Sword and Shield started the open-world aspect of the Pokemon series and many wondered where they would go next. That led to Pokemon Legends Arceus which was a true fully open-world experience for Pokemon fans for the first time. Many fans hoped that while Legends Arceus was good, the next generation of Pokemon would continue to add to this structure. From what was shown in the first-ever trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon main games will either be entirely or mostly open-world.

In Conclusion

The Pokemon company has honestly been killing it with their recent releases. BDSP was a little controversial, but the sales for the game performed phenomenally well. And as for Legends Arceus, that game expanded the horizons of Pokemon in a way where no player really expected to ever happen. Following up Legends Arceus, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring the newer gameplay mechanics and systems onto a more conventional pokemon recipe. With the Pokemon Scarlet and VIolet release date being on November 18, 2022, players all around the world can look forward to setting off on yet another unforgettable adventure.
