Team Lumi also restored many of the moves that Generation 8 cut. They also added new move tutors to the house west of Pastoria. They are also in every Pokémon Center, with their list of moves expanding for every badge you earn.

On top of that, grass encounters mostly match Renegade Platinum (including Honey Trees); however, balancing choices have been made, along with the addition of an item called the Incense Burner, which allows players to find Regional Forms of Pokemon in the wild.
