Hello trainers, today is a good day for Scarlet and Violet players. Many trainers voiced problems from glitches after the second to most recent patch update. One of these issues was an inability to catch Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. Luckily, after the most recent patch, the Pokémon Company has decided to give players another chance at catching Walking Wake and Iron Leaves.

On April 25, the company announced that Walking Wake and Iron Leaves would be coming back as 5 Star Raid bosses. This would be going on from April 30 at 5 pm to May 14 at 5 pm. This should give players plenty of time to plan strategies and defeat these two. Most counters that people used against them the first time will work this time.
These two were brought back as a way to apologize to players for the bad egg glitches. These eggs would sometimes pop up in place of the two Paradox Pokémon and lock players out of trying for them again. Despite the multiple grievances people levy against Scarlet and Violet, this lessens the gravity of how broken these games are, even a little bit.
As a reminder of what counters work, let’s start with Wake. Since Walking Wake is a water-type Pokemon, people should use electric types. Walking Wake has Flamethrower and Sunny Day, so do not use grass types. Players could also use Water Absorb Clodsires to provide poison support.
For Iron Leaves, dark-type Pokémon work the best. Meowscarada would be a great choice with Night Slash and Flower Trick for guaranteed crits.
Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are back again to explore the present day with all trainers. While they’re not as hard as 7-star raids, players should still come prepared for a challenge Go out there and make this chance worth it.
