Trainers, Team GO Rocket has three admins that aid Giovanni in the mobile game only. One of them is Cliff. While he can be tough with no preparation, it is still very possible to come out on top. This piece will go over the August team for Team GO Rocket Cliff.
Keep in mind that these teams change periodically. There will be a new team posted for her next month as well.
Wherever Giovanni goes, his loyal admins go with him. Cliff is no different than Sierra and Arlo in this regard. He’s a rock-solid wall for Giovanni. However, he is easy to crumble with prep. His possible teams are as below (they’re all Shadow Pokémon):
Lileep
Marowak, Kingdra, or Aerodactyl
Tyranitar, Cradily, or Crobat
Cliff can have a combination of any of these Pokémon. However, he will always have Lileep.
Despite sites having recommended teams, players can go in with whatever Pokémon they want. However, it is recommended that the player brings any of these types for these specific Pokémon:
Lileep: Water, Grass, Ground,
Second Mon: Water, Grass, and Ice (Marowak), Dragon and Fairy (Kingdra), Water, Steel, Electric, Rock, and Ice (Aerodactyl)
Third Mon: Fighting, Water, Grass, Ground, Bug, Steel, Fairy (Tyranitar), Fighting, Ice, Bug, Steel (Cradily), Psychic, Electric, Ice, Rock (Crobat)
Make sure any Pokémon used against him has a CP of 2000, 3000, or higher.
This is the entire guide on how to defeat Team GO Rocket Cliff. The Team GO Rocket Admins are some of the hardest fights in GO. However, with patience and planning, players will be able to bring Cliff and the others down. Just use those shields wisely and have many parties of Pokémon able to fight.
