Players, Mochi Mayhem, the event meant to come to audiences on January 11 was leaked to the web by hackers. The event, which also happened to be in the game’s files, was also able to be accessed by certain Youtubers. It would appear that one of the events in the story is a fight against Kieran and Carmine’s grandparents, Yukito and Hideko, in Scarlet and Violet.
There is an encounter with both of the grandparents as part of the main story, seemingly. Their names, according to the information present on Bulbapedia, are Yukito (for Grandpa) and Hideko (Grandma). Their teams are below:
Arbok
Type: Poison
Level: 80
Ability: Intimidate
Moves: Gunk Shot, Crunch, Fire Fang, Screech
Weezing
Type: Poison
Level: 80
Ability: Levitate
Moves: Heat Wave, Sludge Bomb, Assurance, Toxic
Chandelure

Ability: Flash Fire
Moves: Heat Wave, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Protect
Mamoswine

It would seem that their Pokémons’ tera typings are poison. However, we cannot extrapolate more as that would serve as spoilers at this point. However, this bit of information is exciting and makes one wonder if they’ll have anything to do with Gen 9’s remaining mythical Pokémon.
This is the information on Yukito and Hideko from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Though Kieran’s grandpa specifically played an important role in the Teal Mask, it was certainly unexpected that he would come back as an opponent in Mochi Mayhem. Players have a lot of interesting things to look forward to in January.
