Post Malone to Perform on Pokemon Day

Publish Date: February 11, 2021

The Pokemon 25 Year Anniversary is shaping up to be quite a fun one to say the least. In the initial video that showed off what would be coming this year, Katy Perry was revealed to be collaborating with Pokemon. There have been a lot of questions as to whether that meant a concert or a new single honoring Pokemon? Well, now it seems as though there will be a full concert on Pokemon Day and Post Malone is joining the party.

As is seen in the video from the tweet Pokemon put out, Post Malone leaves his car to get ready for a concert. He grabs the microphone and looks down to see a Pokeball in his hand. After this, he is turned into a cartoon version of himself as he walks on stage.

To end the video they reveal a virtual concert on Pokemon Day, February 27, at 7pm est. This concert will be on the 25.pokemon.com website.

So far, the musical portion of the Pokemon 25 Year Anniversary is the only major part that has been announced. Currently, there are some small things going on like getting the Pokemon 25 Year Anniversary cards at McDonald’s. This has been an interesting topic in and of itself. But, that is about it so far.

There are rumors of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes getting revealed as well as a potential launch of Pokemon Unite, the new Pokemon MOBA. The Pokemon Unite Roster will definitely be one that fans will like.

Outside of these different potential announcements, fans will seemingly just have to wait. Luckily the event is only a little over two weeks away. For all things Pokemon make sure to keep it here at The Game Haus to stay updated.
