Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Team Star Revealed

After many questions surrounding Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, some more aspects of the game were revealed. One of the biggest ones was the enemy team or at least the team that you fight against in some way. Here is a first look at Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Team Star.

Team Star will be in their own area called Starfall Street. According to the latest trailer they are rebellious students. What they are rebelling about or if they are more just angsty teens is not yet known.

Here is what their grunts will look like in the game.

As one can see they will have different outfits likely depending on which version of the game players get. What is not known is which will be which. Will their colors match or will they be the opposite?

Regardless Team Star’s Boss of at least the Fire Crew, which has not been explained yet, is Mela. She stands atop a car that looks like a Pokemon and uses Torcoal in the trailer they showed.

It will be interesting to see if there are other crews than just the Fire crew. Also seeing the badge of the Scarlet version of the Academy makes it safe to assume that there will likely be a Violet counterpart for Mela.

“Mela is the boss of Team Star’s Fire crew, the Schedar Squad. As the team’s best all-rounder, Mela fixes any and every problem thrown her way, though her methods are heavy-handed. She leaves a forceful and gruff impression, but her steadfast devotion to completing anything she puts her mind to has earned her the trust of her teammates.”

While not much else is known about the team other than they use fire Pokemon like the previously mentioned Torcoal and Houndour, they should certainly spice up the story of the game. Or at least, that is the hope.
