Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Schedar Squad Base Breakdown

Publish Date: December 24, 2022

Team Star is the newest evil team, introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Well, evil is stretching the English language here. This group of delinquents is holed up in bases all over Paldea to get away from the people that bullied them. They are also hoping their big boss will return. This piece will break down how to take down Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Schedar Squad.

Where is Team Star’s Schedar Squad?

Schedar Squad, led by Mela, is located between the location of the Stony Cliff Titan and Levincia City. Players can get there after getting to the Pokemon Center in that area. Once they defeat the grunts at the gate and talk to Cassiopeia and Clive (Clavell in disguise), they will start the challenge.

Auto Battle Royale

Ready for some Dynasty Warriors gameplay? Once inside, players will have to defeat 30 of the Schedar Squad’s Pokemon in 10 minutes. Luckily, this is easy with Scarlet and Violet’s new auto-battle feature. Upon having their challenge accepted, players need to pick 3 Pokemon to put at the top of their party.

They will then go through a series of auto battles with them in order to reach the limit. Team Star also has vending machines all over the base so players can heal their Pokemon. It is recommended that players choose 3 Pokemon at a higher level than the Star grunts and that have a type advantage against them. Once the player has succeeded in beating the grunts, Mela will come out to face the player.

Team Star Boss Mela

Once players have reached Mela, she will come out on the Schedar Starmobile, a car body with a Revavroom strapped to the front running it. Mela has two Pokemon for her boss fight.

Torkoal:

Level: 27

Moves: Flamethrower, Clear Smog

Ability: Drought

Revavroom:

Level: 26

Moves: Overheat, Blazing Torque, Screech, Swift

Ability: Speed Boost

When Mela sends out Revavroom, it will be in the form of her Starmobile. That’s right, players are fighting her car. Don’t be intimidated, players. This is just like any other Pokemon battle. Keep tactics and type advantage in mind and players will come up on top. Defeat her and you get a piece of Team Star’s backstory.

Conclusion

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Schedar Squad is one of the first recommended Team Star units to take down. Mela’s fiery disposition is scary but with the right tools, players will overcome her and the rest of her team. Go on and shine bright like Team Star, players!!!
