
Pokemon Day almost always brings out some of the best Pokemon news and updates. After some lesser-known Pokemon updates, many wondered what the Pokemon company and Game Freak had left up their sleeves? Well, it was finally announced, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, also known as Generation 9 will be coming to Nintendo Switches everywhere soon. Along with the announcement came reveals of new Pokemon and older ones that will be in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokedex.

Below is a list of Pokemon that have been revealed for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokedex so far. This list will update as more Pokemon are revealed in the future. Any Pokemon with (Assumed) have not been shown but their evolution has been.
All new Pokemon will be in Bold.
In the first reveal trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the first 50 Pokemon of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokedex were either fully revealed or essentially revealed.
The second trailer revealed 25 more Pokemon. There were five new ones including the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries.
Most Pokemon games have at least 150 Pokemon with about a third of them being new. As of now about one-third of the Pokemon, at a minimum, have been revealed. That being said, the Galar Pokedex for Sword and Shield had 400 Pokemon on release. So for fans, they should expect that the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokedex has only scratched the surface so far.
