Publish Date: August 3, 2022

After an almost two-month drought of news, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet finally had some aspects revealed. Most of the reveals had been leaked by a riddler/leaker but for those who were able to avoid them, there was brand new information. Since Pokemon Sun and Moon, ride Pokemon have basically become the standard. Pokemon Sword and Shield simplified this but now, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are really changing things up. Not only will players have access to the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendary Pokemon on the cover from the beginning but they will be a major part of the game. Players will be able to ride them around the areas quickly whether on the ground, flying or surfing.

This is a first for the franchise as even Pokemon Legends Arceus had the player using multiple different Pokemon. Instead, it will just be whatever legendary Pokemon is on the cover of the game.

Considering that the Paldea Region should be massive, having these Pokemon nearly from the start will be very welcome. With the Pokemon games moving more and more to open-world and a massive amount of traveling, running it would be very tedious.

Fans will be excited to see more and more about the new games and all that will be available to them.
