Trainers, Mochi Mayhem has been out for a day, but people have already caught Pecharunt. This Gen 9 mythical Pokémon is fairly easy to get and it is in fact, a guaranteed catch. Find out how to catch Pecharunt in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet here.

It is rather easy to get Pecharunt. This is because it is a mandatory part of the epilogue’s story. In Mochi Mayhem, Pecharunt brings multiple NPCs and the player’s friends, except Kieran, under its control. After the player defeats Nemona, they are to take Pecharunt on in a boss battle at the restored Loyalty Plaza. They will find that Nemona has fallen under the Pokémon’s control and will have to beat her. Pecharunt is ghost/poison.
Therefore, if players bring a dark, ground, or their ghost type, they should be ok. Pecharunt’s loadout is as follows:
Level: 88
Ability: Poison Puppeteer
Moveset:
Malignant Chain
Shadow Ball
Toxic
Nasty Plot
Once players defeat the battle, they will be able to net a guaranteed catch on it once Kieran gives the ok. Use the Pokeball that best suits it. It should also go without saying that players should save their master balls on this one.
This is how players can get Pecharunt in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This is the first poison-type mythical in the entire franchise. And it’ll be interesting to see the types of builds and strategies both casual and competitive players use with it. Have fun, everyone.
