Pokemon Violet and Scarlet Cover Art

For those who may not know, those are the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries. Read more about them in the piece linked.

As for the cover arts themselves, these may be the most unique cover arts of a mainline Pokemon game to date. They each have almost a scale-like feature in the background. The border around the game titles is also very interesting. It gives a feeling of regality. Both of the crests at the top of each border are a little different but hard to make out. As well as each corner shows some symbols. One or two of them may be recognizable from the first trailer as well.

There is no doubt that should the cover arts actually come like this that these will be the more unique ones to date. The games themselves are seemingly going to be very unique as well this time. Each one will have a different Professor and it seems as though, they may even have different stories.

Either way, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are looking to bring a fresh new feel to the franchise. How fans will receive them should be interesting.
