Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been out for over a month now. But people have still been holding off on buying it. For those potential Paldeans, this piece will be breaking down the battle with the academy director with a champion-ranked team. This piece will be an overview of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Clavell Battle.
Clavell is the current director of Naranja and Uva Academies, depending on what game you’re playing. Taking the position after the previous director, Clavell starts off against Team Star, giving an ultimatum of expulsion to them if they refuse to disband the team. However, deciding that he wants a chance to investigate the full story, he disguises himself as Clive, a normal student, in order to get their perspectives on equal grounds. After learning the full story of Team Star being the ones who suffered from bullying, Clavell decides to revoke his expulsion order in exchange for them taking charge of the new training centers for the other students. Below is the team Clavell uses when he challenges you pretending to be Cassiopeia.

Two things to watch out for are Clavell terastalizing the starter he kept and his Abomasnow setting up Aurora Veil. Bring a screen breaker to take care of his team’s enhanced bulk.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Clavell is one of the most intriguing battles in the game. While most educators wouldn’t bat an eye to the troubling aspects of their establishments, Clavell went above and beyond trying to aid Cassiopeia and her team in escaping their anguish. As long as players come prepared, Clavell, or, “Clive” will fall easily.
