Greetings trainers. Hopefully, Decidueye didn’t ruffle anyone’s feathers too much. Not too long after it just ended on the 26, however, Gamefreak announced the next 7-star raid. This piece will go over all of the details of the 7 Star Samurott Raid.
The next raid for players in Scarlet and Violet will be Samurott. This fierce otter will be rocking the Bug Tera Type and serve as a challenge to players. Not all of the info is available yet, but players can still prepare fairly well for the challenge ahead. Below will be a list of the information players currently know and some preparation suggestions.
The Samurott raid will be taking place from March 31 to April 9. There will be a break between April 3 and April 6 for those who either miss the first rotation or those that need more time to prepare. While there is still plenty of time beforehand, trainers should pick their raid mon and start training as soon as possible.
One thing players can do to ensure that they have an edge in the raid is to exploit Samurott’s tera-type weaknesses. Bug is weak to fire, flying, and rock. However, Samurott will still have water-type moves.
So, for the love of God players, do NOT bring fire or rock types to this raid. While flying is still an option, fans should also remember the types that resist Samurott’s move pool so that they are taken down less easily.
Options for Pokemon that can resist Samurott are other water types, grass, and dragon. Samurott’s tera typing does not mean that it will have bug moves. So, grass-type mons are still safe in this event. However, seeing as Samurott can learn Megahorn, fighting, and ground are also viable options.
This, however, is speculation based on what fans know about Samurott logistically. The Game Haus will update readers with Samurott’s moveset when it comes out.
Just like Decidueye, Samurott is looking to be a fun, but powerful opponent. However, those who conquered the flying tera-type owl will have no problem conquering this foe as well. With proper preparation and smart choice in pokemon, this 7-Star Samurott raid will pose little difficulty.
