Pokemon Paradox Cobalion Revealed During Pokemon Presents

Even though Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have recently been released, fans will be beating these games and wanting more. This comes naturally as they have been getting a new Pokemon fix of some type nearly every year for more than 25 years. While Pokemon is probably already hard at work with Generation 10, there are fans that are going to be looking for some DLC. The Teal Mask and Indigo Disk were revealed along with some new Pokemon. Here is a look at one of these new Pokemon, Paradox Cobalion.

The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC is bringing with it some very new and interesting stories. The first one, The Teal Mask, will see the player going on a field trip to a new village. In this village up in the mountains, players will have to figure out the mystery of Ogerpon. This Pokemon wears a big mask that can Terrastalize in some way, this is still not clear.

The second DLC, The Indigo Disk, will send players to Blueberry Academy. This is in the middle of the ocean and houses a very interesting dome of Pokemon along with its own academy of students. This will essentially be the battle tree for Scarlet and Violet.

There were some rumors and leaks about the new Pokemon that could be coming to the game. While some have no come to fruition, yet, there were some that were revealed. While it was known that there would be new Pokemon, a Paradox form of Cobalion was not completely expected.

Paradox Raikou in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet a few, seemingly random, Pokemon were given new Paradox forms. Some of these were from the past and others were future forms. Cobalion seems to be a future form meaning it will have a unique name. According to Bulbagarden, this will likely have Musketeer in it in some way. More specifically it could be Iron Musketeer.

This means it will be getting a new typing in some way. Likely, it will be steel and psychic but that has not been confirmed yet. Even still, players will eagerly be wanting to find this Paradox form as Cobalion has long been a fan-favorite Legendary Pokemon.

Also with Virizion as a future paradox form, it seems likely that Terrakion will be added with The Indigo Disk but this has not been confirmed yet either.
