It is finally here, the long-awaited news day for Pokemon has arrived. With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC starting to wrap up, we have had no official news on where the franchise is heading next. Luckily, Pokemon Day and the first Pokemon Presents gave us a glimpse of what to expect next. We were introduced to the next Pokemon Legends Game, Z-A set in Kalos. Now fans want to know, what is the Pokemon Legends Z-A Release Date?

Pokemon Legends Z-A Release Date

The Pokemon Legends Z-A Release Date is officially slated for 2025.

Exactly what day, month or even quarter of 2025 is not yet known. But there are some very good guesses that can be made.

The first is January of 2025. The main reason everyone believes that this is the most likely release time is twofold. One, this is when Pokemon Legends Arceus wass released. For the most part, Pokemon has stayed on a pretty consistent release schedule for its games. With Legends game becoming more than just a one-time offshoot, it seems likely that we may get a new one to start the year every three years or so.

Two, it will have been over two years in the last major Pokemon game. This still can change if Pokemon was holding back on a Black and White remake to be revealed for later in 2024. That being said, this seems more like hopium than anything else.

Other Release Date Options

The second most likely period for release would be during the Holiday season of 2025. Most major Pokemon games have been released in November just in time for the holiday spending sprees. This would be three full years without a Pokemon game which would be extremely surprising.

The last option and one that is a very close third is the summer of 2025. Other non-mainline Pokemon games generally have come out around May or June. If they felt they needed more time but did not want to wait until the Holiday season of 2025, this would be when they would release Pokemon Legends Z-A.
