It has finally happened trainers. Pokemon HOME will be getting support for Scarlet and Violet. Now trainers can bring Pokemon that do not spawn naturally, as well as Hisuian Pokemon from Legends Arceus, to Paldea. This is all the community knows about Pokemon HOME and Generation 9 connectivity.
Near the end of the Presents, the Pokémon Company announced that they will be working on getting support for HOME to Scarlet and Violet in early 2023. The company did not establish a date for release. However, given that it’s supposed to happen in early 2023, one could assume April or May. If not those two, summer of 2023 at the latest. Again, this is just speculation.
One thing that cannot be overstated though is that the availability of new Pokemon not found in the dex will change the game. These are the potential common Pokemon that will become available post this update:
Disclaimer: It should be noted that Pokemon names in bold are guesses, not confirmed. This list was made with help from the Scarlet and Violet teambuilder on GitHub.
Pokemon HOME and Generation 9 connectivity is a dream come true for the community. Pokemon that were the subjects of 7-star raids such as Charizard, Greninja, and Cinderace will be easier to bring over for those who missed out. One thing is for sure, after the Present and 1.2.0 version patch, fans will finally treat Scarlet and Violet like the games they truly are.
