Hello, trainers. Pokémon GO is ripe with young and old heroes running to help their friends. In this event, Team Valor’s leader is in need of help seeking inspiration. This piece will break down the Valorous Hero event and how players can go about helping Candela in Pokémon GO.
The Valorous Event Research will be active from May 11 at 10 am to May 17 at 8 pm. While the special research is timeless, players will definitely want to complete the special research in order to earn a generous amount of exp and stardust. However, there are also various other goals to seek during this time.
Starting at the very beginning, players will have access to Mega Pinsir. This is Pokémon GO’s debut for the mega stag beetle. It will be available as a boss in Mega Raids. These might be 5 stars. If players are lucky, they will also encounter a shiny Mega Pinsir.

Five Star Raids
Tapu Fini, the last of the island guardians can be encountered in 5-star raids. It will be available in its regular and shiny forms. Fini will be available from May 9 to May 24. 5 Star raids can be excruciatingly difficult. Gather as many friends as possible and take this guardian by storm.
Other event bonuses include 2x Candy obtainment, trainers level 31 and above will have twice the chance to obtain Candy XL from catching Pokémon, up to 2 free raid passes by spinning gym disks and 2x Mysterious Components for beating Team Rocket Grunts.
Finally, for completing the special research with Candela, players can get a Ponyta with a Team Valor accessory, similar to Spark’s Elekid.
The Valorous Hero Event is one that will have all Team Valor players jumping with joy. It gives the team leaders characters outside of just appraising Pokémon stats. Players are encouraged to go out there and unleash their inner hero.
