Storage in Pokémon GO is incredibly limited. Most players can store up to 400 Pokémon. Unless players are willing or able to pay for storage upgrades, they’ll most likely not be able to keep their entire haul of friends. Players should go through and transfer any Pokémon they don’t need to keep to Professor Willow.
For shinies and special Pokémon that they’re not using in-game, players can also transfer Pokémon to HOME to use them in a mainline game. It’s up to the players. But at the end of the day, make sure there is plenty of room in the storage box.
The Road to Sinnoh event is one that started on Feb 19 and is slated to go to Feb 23. There is still time for players to jump on this event. Through this, players can get early rewards for their preparations by doing timed research that gives them encounters with Heatran, Origin Forme Giratina, Cresselia, and other Sinnoh hall of famers.
Players can also do event-exclusive timed research to net themselves candies to power up their Sinnoh legendaries. This is not something that should be passed up casually for dedicated players. Lastly, Sinnoh Hatch can be used to hatch eggs quicker and get rewards such as encounters with Pokémon and a Pikachu mask for their avatars.
There is also an Eevee mask available while doing the event. Do know, however, that each research ticket will cost 5 dollars USD. So, think carefully before spending.
Origin Dialga and Palkia are making their debut during the GO Tour. Along with clearing storage space, players should also make sure they have 6+ Pokémon powerful enough to fight them. Their typings remain the same as their incarnate form, so think about what would be good against Dragon types.
Items like incense, extra Pokéballs, and potions will all come in handy for your journey. Make sure that item storage is cleared and that players are carrying all the essentials necessary for this event. When it comes to Pokéballs, players should prioritize having Ultra Balls over any other Pokeball as they will help the most.
