Sewaddle will take the world by storm on October 5 from 2-5 pm. Players that evolve Swadloon into a Leavanny during the event will be able to get one that knows Shadow Claw. Here are the stats for the move:
Trainer Battles: 9 power
Gyms and raids: 6 power
It’s not the greatest move power-wise, but it’s different and a way to surprise multiple opponents.
As usual, there is special research for the community day. It is as follows:
For 1.00 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Sewaddle Community Day–exclusive Special Research. Players should stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research go live.
Players should also not forget that they’re able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their friends they’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
Tickets are nonrefundable. Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.
The event bonuses are as follows:
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.

One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
