Trainers, another new event for May is in the works now. Just like in the real world’s nature, certain Pokémon have natural rivalries with each other. Next month, players will get a whole event themed around this concept. In this piece, readers will learn all the details of the Pokémon GO Rivals Week event.

Enjoy a Week Dedicated to Pokémon Rivalries

On May 4, players will be able to partake in Rivals Week. This will focus on the natural tendency between certain Pokémon such as Heatmor and Durant, Zangoose and Seviper, and many more. The event will go on until May 9. Players will get the chance to catch interesting Pokémon and benefit from the event bonuses.

  • 10× XP from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
  • 2× Catch Candy
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Zangoose, Seviper, Throh, Sawk, Heatmor, and Durant
