Trainers, the regional bird of Unova (or one of three) is going to be in the spotlight soon. While not the most popular of the regional birds, Pidove can still do players good in the GO scene. This article will go over the details of the Pidove Spotlight Hour.
Sources at Nintendowire and Pokémon GO-related sites, like Leek Duck, report that Pidove spotlight hour will go live on October 1. The event goes from 6 pm to 7 pm. Pidoves caught during this event can be shiny. Players could get lucky and work their way up to shiny Unfeazants.
Bonuses for this event mainly involve getting an increased output of candies for catching the spotlight Pokémon. However, players should keep in mind that the bonuses can apply to all Pokémon, not just the featured one. Players should make sure they have enough Pokéballs and Razz Berries in stock.
It’s not a good feeling to go out and start catching, only to realize that one is almost out of balls.
If players are unable to get in on the fun, do not worry. Pidove can be encountered quite commonly in the overworld and players should be able to find enough to get the candies necessary for Unfeazant. Better yet, catch a few and use Pinap Berries to up the candy output.
Players should also know that unlike Community Days, Spotlight Hours happened weekly within a month. So, if players blow off Pidove Spotlight Hour, they can take parts in other spotlight hours throughout October. The next Spotlight Hour after this, for example, is Galarian Slowpoke. Just plan accordingly, trainers.
These are all the important details of Pidove Spotlight Hour. There will be other pieces giving info on other spotlight hours here on the Game Haus as well. Have fun players.
