Stickers have become a fun part of Pokemon GO. Friends can send each other stickers with their gifts and make a habit of collecting them. As of yesterday, Pokemon GO has released news of a new update for the feature on the horizon. This piece will go over the details of the new Pokemon GO Sticker Feature.
On October 25, Niantic released an announcement for an upgrade to the sticker feature. Though the announcement did not confirm when the update would hit, it described the content in depth. Once it drops, stickers will now be sorted by category instead of just being clumped together.
When sending a gift to a friend with a postcard, players will be able to tap “add sticker” to pull up the new sticker view. They will then be able to browse the categories to the sticker they deem appropriate to the postcard. This is certainly a welcome addition as more choice equals more fun for players everywhere.
On top of that, Pokemon GO will offer a special sale for these stickers. All of the stickers will be put on the in-game store. They will be available from October 31 to November 2. Players are encouraged to stock up while they can.
This Pokemon GO category sticker update will help make things a lot easier for people in the sticker department. Stickers are fun little collectibles IRL and in video games. Hopefully, this small thing will be one thing that players make a big deal of excitement over.
