Pokemon GO Lush Jungle Event Coming Up

Hello, trainers. Pokemon GO came out in 2016 and it is still the mobile game taking the world by storm. With Generation 7 Pokemon now in the game, fans of Alola can rejoice in having their favorite owl, cat, and seel with them in real life. As Pokemon from Gen 7 debut, there are events being hosted to help facilitate the spawning of certain Pokemon. This article will go over the upcoming Lush Jungle Event and how to catch certain Pokemon like Fomantis.

This article will breakdown every piece of the event Niantic has planned.

Lush Jungle Event Duration And Spotlight

According to the official Pokemon Go website, the event is meant to last an entire week. Going from Tuesday, March 22nd to Tuesday, March 29th. During this time, there’s going to be a weekend spotlight for Cottonee. Trainers can encounter Cottonee more frequently on March 26th and if they’re lucky, get a shiny one. Catch the Lurantis Line and Potentially Tapu Lele

Debuting for the first time, players will be able to Fomantis and Lurantis in the overworld. This bug/grass sickle Pokemon is finally in GO and fans will finally be able to claim it for themselves. The Guardian of Akala Island, Tapu Lele, will also be making its debut for players to catch.

Research Components

This event also marks the beginning of the second season of Alola’s research story. Timed Research on catching grass Pokemon will also be available. Conclusion

Players will be able to get Fomantis along with other Pokemon during the Lush Jungle Event.  Pokemon GO is very close to having all of the available Pokemon in its roster. Alola is such a great region with many strong Pokemon. Players are sure to have a great time catching the new additions to the game.
