Pokemon GO July Content Revealed

Publish Date: June 28, 2023

Hello, trainers. June is almost at an end. And everyone is excited for the continuation of GO’s Hidden Gems season. On June 26, an admin in the PokemonGOverse group on Facebook posted an infographic on the content coming in July. This piece will serve as a written summary of the flood of content coming to Pokemon GO in July.

What Can Trainers Expect?

Looking at the infographic, most of the foreshadowed content seem to be legendary raids and regular raids in general. The most stand out detail is the debut of Mega Tyranitar. A lot of Pokemon have been having their megas debut little by little as the seasons go on. This time, rocky road Godzilla makes its debut in July.

Tyranitar will be in mega raids along with these Pokemon:

Sableye

Blastoise

Blaziken

Tyranitar

So, players are encouraged to communicate with people who can join up with them for raids.

The next ones are the research breakthrough Pokemon. By doing research, this is what Pokemon players can hope to get:

Sableye

Beldum

Audino

Furfrou

Goomy

Noibat

Some of these Pokemon can be found shiny. So, good luck.

5 Star Raids

The following section will breakdown the raid bosses for 5 star raids:

Heatran

Articuno

Zapdos

Moltres

Regieleki

Regidrago

These Pokemon will also, obviously, be catchable during raid hours.

Spotlight Hours

Finally, for the Pokemon side of things, we have the spotlight hour encounters. Spotlight Hours are periods of time where certain Pokemon are given a focus on. Players will be able to encounter them at an increased rate. Here are the planned spotlight hours:

Rufflet

Wailmer

Rhyhorn

Yungoos

July’s Calendar

Finally, this piece will finish off by giving insight to a July’s calendar of events. Fans already know some of these events, but they will be listed off here anyway:

GO Battle Weekend: July 1-July 2

7th Anniversary Party: July 6-July 12

Community Day Classic: July 9 (which fans already know to be for Squirtle)

Catching Some Zs Event: July 15-July 16

Riolu Hatch Day: July 22

Adventure Week: July 27-August 2

Community Day: July 30

Conclusion

This is all the Pokemon GO July content that players can expect. July will be a robust month and the weather in the US is the right type to be outside in. Players should mark their calendars and plan their days out meticulously enough to take advantage of all opportunities. Go out and prosper players.
