Fennekin Community Day will be hosted on May 21 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Fennekin will appear more in the wild, giving players a deluge of their favorite fox. Players should free their schedules during this window and stock up on Pokeballs and berries. Players will want to use Great Balls and Ultra Balls if they can help it.
For those who enjoy Delphox, there are some huge benefits to this community day like others. Those who manage to evolve a Braixen during the event will be able to earn their Delphox Brave Burn as a charged move. This move is exceptionally worth the effort as it will deal 110 power to trainers and gym battles.
The other option players have is Mystical Fire. While Braixen evolved during the vent will learn Blast Burn, players can also teach Delphox mystical fire, which results in less raw power but will decrease opponents’ attack. Each move is good depending on what players value in battle.
For $1 USD, players can purchase a special research story revolving around Fennekin. Players also have the ability to gift their “Great Friends” with the ticket so they can do the story themselves. Tickets are nonrefundable, so purchase them only if commitment is certain.
The following bonuses will be in effect during Community Day:
3x Stardust for catching Pokémon.
2x Candy for catching Pokémon
2x chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Pokémon GO Fennekin Community Day will be a spectacle for all to behold. This is the last Community Day of the season, and if it means getting a shiny fox, all players should make time for it. Go out there and get a mystically fiery friend.
